Although there are multiple Shotokan organisations, the JKA is one of the most prestigious. The JKA prides itself in being knows as the keeper of karates highest tradition and approaches the study of Karate with purpose and depth. With its main headquarters in Tokyo the JKA has the wherewithal to maintain a large, dedicated and profession staff, most of whom are either past of even present world champions.
